About Me

Hi, my name is Jon Haisfield and I am a sophomore in the process of completing the Gateway course for the Sweetland Writing Minor. The inspiration for my project came from a personal narrative essay I wrote in high school about my passion for fly fishing. As a Colorado native, I love to spend a lot of time in the outdoors. Through my project, I hope to not only provide more insight into fly fishing, but inspire others to step outside and explore the natural world. Hope you enjoy!
